A radical approach to lighting is at the basis for the study of this little flat in Paris. The core concept was explored together with Nicolas Dorval-Bory from an objective and scientific point of view, so the duality between high and low CRIs ( color rendering index ) becomes the distinguishing element of this space composition.
How did we appropriately designed lighting for such a small piece of architecture, then? As both sources can be turned on independently, different lighting patterns appear, giving rise to unpredicted contrasts in casual areas of the flat.
Designed in a plain and neutral fashion, it swallows any architectural expression or theme to only show the composition logic generated by light.
